About the Game

In a world where every being is created for a purpose, soldiers fight without ever questioning why.

But something has broken free.

A shapeless black spirit, stripped of any fixed identity, awakens with a single power: the ability to possess the bodies of others.

Driven toward a powerful creator who controls the battlefield, the spirit must fight through waves of soldiers, turn their own strength against them, and uncover the truth behind the cycle of control.

Yet the closer it gets to its goal, the more the meaning of its journey begins to change.

HOLLOW HOST is a 2D action platformer about identity, freedom, and the emptiness that can remain even when everything seems to have a purpose.

Gameplay

Fight your way through hostile environments, defeat enemies, and possess their bodies to gain new abilities.

Each host offers a different combat style, giving you new ways to approach enemies and overcome challenges. Switching between hosts during combat is highly recommended.

The Ran — Speed and Agility

A fast and nimble host, ideal for rapid attacks and quick movement.

The Giant — Strength and Power

A heavy, powerful host designed for devastating strikes and breaking through enemy defenses.

The Javelin — Ranged Combat

A ranged fighter capable of throwing javelins that explode on impact.
